These
are my interpretations of my daily life and
surroundings into a vision that others can enjoy too. My paintings are not only about the apparent subject, but also the
color and application of the oil pastel media. But mostly, the paintings are
about themselves. Shape. Color. Motion or quiet.
Oil pastels, different from oil paint or dry pastel,
offer a richness of color and a sensuous texture that I really enjoy.
